A High-Immersion High-Intensity Military Reenactment
Assemble your retinue and join the war camp!
Two rival camps, each vying for victory, will set up in opposing territories, preparing for a full day of clashes and cunning scenarios. Expect night raids, ransoms and rescues, open field battles, ambushes, scouting missions, and more as the day unfolds.
There’s no script. No set schedule. From the first horn’s call to the final toll, the battlefield is alive—24 hours where anything can happen. Every encounter is on your terms—or theirs.
This isn’t just harnischfechten. This is living history. While elements of harnischfechten kits are welcome, full tournament harness is not recommended for the demands of the event.
Friday night we will all set up in a base camp and have fellowship, Saturday morning we will conduct military drills and organized combat scenarios, then the two groups will split off into the woods for 24 hours of unscripted engagement time.
For those who don't choose to sleep rough and carry everything in, there will be an option for a less-minimalist campsite location.
Navigate in the Wilderness
We trek far out from any modern amenities and from any modern lighting or roads. Pack in what you can carry, and only carry what you need. Bedroll, water bottle, weapons, and armor.
Overnight Warfare
Night falls in the forest, and the darkness engulfs the camp. Take your turn at watch, or engage in a night raid on the other team. Sneak through the woods silently, avoiding branches and twigs, or trust your night vision and moonlight to alert you of intruders.
Skirmishes & Real Tactics
You may stumble across enemy troops in the wilderness, you may get ambushed, and they may steal your belongings. Use real navigation skills and real tactics to avoid them, and to position yourself in a more advantageous path of engagement.
Prisoners & Ransom
If you are bested in combat then run away in terror or be captured, especially if you are a high status prisoner. Ransom is a useful tool and is fully in play in this event.
