To all and sundry whom these presents do or may concern, we, the Company of the Lynx Argent, do send greeting.
Whereas considering that for a faithful representation of historical knighthood and chivalric demonstration, it is altogether fitting and proper for an individual to choose to display Heraldry, and that it is altogether apparent that should individuals wish to design their own Heraldry in accordance with good design and display of Armory, that they ought to be granted the right to bear it within our Company. Whereas the Lord Lyon or the College of Arms may establish their own Rolls of Arms and rules for governing and registration of such, the Company of the Lynx Argent, being a living history and Historical European Martial Arts reenactment and research organization, having its own independent charter and voluntary membership doth hereby establish our independent and official Heraldic Authority for Arms used by the individual and recognized and regulated within the Company and for personal use in a non-legal context, especially where no heraldic authority otherwise exists. Therefore, we do establish the following Roll of Arms, and that the following Grants of Arms are to be governed and registered for use within our Company.
